About the examination

The Sindh Public Service Commission has re-opened and extended applications for the Combined Competitive Examination (CCE-2026) through Advertisement No. 06/2026 dated 23 October 2026, in continuation of Consolidated Advertisement No. 04/2026. The CCE recruits BPS-17 officers for Sindh provincial cadre posts; allocation is made according to the posts available in different departments and the options exercised by candidates.

What changed in Advertisement 06/2026

Closing date extended to 11 November 2026
Upper age limit relaxed to 33 years (reckoned on 11 November 2026)
Number of attempts increased to five for a period of three years

Screening test passing score reduced to 33% (66 marks), with negative marking of 0.25 per wrong answer

Eligibility

Pakistani citizens, male and female, including minorities and differently abled persons
Domiciled and permanent resident of Sindh
At least 2nd Division Bachelor's degree; foreign degrees need an HEC equivalence certificate uploaded before the closing date
Age 21 to 33 years

Quota

Female, minorities and differently abled quota as per Government of Sindh policy
Urban/Rural quota must be selected in the form and cannot be changed after the closing date

Fee

Rs 1,000, paid through a PSID via 1-Bill (any online payment channel)

Screening test

28 November 2026 at Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur and Larkano; centre-change requests until 11 November 2026

Candidates who already applied under Advertisement 04/2026 need not apply again, but may fix deficiencies in the portal before 11 November 2026
