Junior Production / Manufacturing Engineer Sothassi (Pvt)

Rawat, Islamabad Employment type: Full-time, on-site Sothassi is looking for a hands-on Junior Engineer to support motorcycle production at our Rawat facility. This is a varied role for someone who enjoys practical engineering, cares about quality and is ready to take responsibility in a growing manufacturing business. Key responsibilities Support motorcycle assembly processes, workstation planning and production readiness, including the preparation of tools, racks, trolleys, jigs and fixtures.

Prepare and update assembly instructions, quality checklists, inspection documents and other technical documentation. Help ensure production work follows defined procedures, quality standards and safety practices. Track production orders and update information in the company’s MRP/ERP system, becoming the in-house point person for keeping it accurate and useful.

Support technical documents and applications required for product and manufacturing approvals. Coordinate with the materials team to help keep parts flowing to the assembly line. Assist with production improvements, including line balancing, time studies, 5S and practical process changes.

Help compare technical and commercial quotations for production tools and equipment. Guide and support assembly technicians as needed. Contribute to mechanical design and product development as your experience grows.

Who we’re looking for A degree in Mechanical Engineering; Automotive Engineering or a closely related qualification will also be considered. A fresh graduate or candidate with up to two years of relevant experience. Formula Student experience is strongly preferred.

Familiarity with SolidWorks is an advantage, particularly for future design work. A strong interest in motorcycles, automotive engineering or manufacturing. Good written and organisational skills, with careful attention to technical detail.
