About the role

Programmers Force is seeking an energetic, hardworking and hands-on Network Technician to join its on-site IT Operations team in Lahore. This entry-level role is focused on direct physical IT tasks: cable laying, rack organization, hardware assembly, CCTV maintenance and daily on-ground support across the office premises. If you are comfortable working with networking tools, running cables and handling basic computer hardware, you are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

Cabling & Connector Connectivity: carry out structured cable laying, PVC ducting, wire-ups and patch panel routing. Handle RJ45 crimping, punching down keystone jacks, connector testing, and running drops to user desks.
Rack Management & Organization: assist in mounting and arranging network switches, patch panels and power strips inside racks. Ensure clean cable dressing using Velcro ties and cable managers.

CCTV & Attendance Systems: assist with mounting CCTV cameras, running PoE/network lines and basic DVR/NVR connectivity. Support the physical installation and cabling of biometric attendance machines.

Hardware Setup & Basic Computer Support: assemble, clean and set up desktop PCs, monitors and peripherals. Assist with basic hardware troubleshooting, replacing RAM/SSDs, and resolving simple OS or network connectivity issues.

Wireless & Local Connectivity: assist in placing Wi-Fi routers/Access Points and ensuring steady network coverage across office floors.

Asset & Inventory Handling: help track IT equipment, manage incoming/outgoing hardware accessories, and maintain an organized IT inventory store.

Eligibility & Qualifications

Education: Matriculation (Matric / SSC) or Intermediate (FA / FSc / ICS / DAE)
Experience: fresh to maximum 1 year of practical field or lab experience in basic networking, cabling or computer hardware
Hands-on skills: practical familiarity with crimping tools, RJ45 connectors (T568B sequence), punch-down tools and network cable testers
Hardware basics: basic understanding of desktop computer components (RAM, storage, power supplies, monitor displays)
Attitude & readiness: willingness to perform physical tasks (climbing ladders, routing cables through ceilings/ducts, rack lifting)
Basic Urdu communication skills with the ability to read basic technical labels and instructions in English
